Halal Bros Grill Kings Plaza is a vibrant halal restaurant nestled at 2504 Flatbush Ave in Brooklyn, NY, offering a flavorful fusion of Caribbean and Middle Eastern inspired dishes that cater to both casual diners and food enthusiasts alike. Known primarily for its expertly prepared jerk chicken, this eatery promises to deliver bold, spicy, and irresistibly juicy meals that truly satisfy hearty appetites.
The menu is a treasure trove for anyone craving rich, savory flavors. Signature dishes like the Jerk Chicken over Rice and Jerk Chicken Rice Bowl showcase tender chicken thighs bursting with vibrant spices that dance on the palate. For those who enjoy a bit of variety, the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Burrito Bowl provide fresh, well-balanced options, while the Carne Asada Fries and Loaded Cheese Fries offer indulgent comfort food that’s ideal for sharing—or savoring solo. Add-ons like the unique Raw Cauliflower and fresh salads such as the Jerk Salad or Lamb Salad contribute a crisp, refreshing counterpoint to the richer tastes.
One of Halal Bros Grill’s greatest strengths is the skillful layering of heat and flavor, evidenced by their famously fiery hot sauces. Take caution when requesting extra heat—several patrons have playfully warned this bold choice is not for the faint-hearted. Yet, the spice is tempered delicately to not overpower but rather enhance the natural juiciness and smokiness of the jerk chicken, creating a deeply satisfying taste experience.
Though the restaurant currently lacks seating—an aspect noted by customers such as Thomas Lee and Abdul Hafiz—the overall vibe remains welcoming, and the staff’s warmth and attentiveness make ordering a breeze. Many customers treasure the efficient service combined with high-quality, freshly prepared meals that feel anything but rushed or impersonal.
Highlighting standout dishes is the Jerk Chicken Quesadilla available in several combos, which blends spicy chicken with melty cheese, corn, and pico de gallo for a fusion twist that intrigues the taste buds. The availability of lamb quesadillas further cements Halal Bros as a versatile spot keen on catering to diverse palates.
Food lovers like Lara Nini appreciate the customizable nature of the offerings—choosing sauce combinations like white sauce, dragon, and BBQ to elevate her salad without compromising freshness or flavor. On the other hand, Jorden Forrester praises not only the “great eats” but also the friendly atmosphere and attentive service, which complement the food and invite repeat visits.
In essence, Halal Bros Grill Kings Plaza offers a vibrant, flavor-packed halal dining experience where each bite transports you to a lively, spice-laden culinary adventure. Whether you’re stopping by after a day of shopping or looking for a takeout meal with authentic flair, their juicy chicken, bold sauces, and inventive menu selections make it a must-try destination for Brooklyn’s halal cuisine aficionados.
Bads first. There is no seating even though there is ample room inside. The portion is smaller than expected for $13+. Now the goods. The chicken thighs are extremely juicy and made fresh. I love me some hot sauce, and theirs were HOT! Don't ask for extra hot sauce unless you want to regret your life decisions. Would I come back? Definitely, yes. I understand the expectations now.
Great food, atmosphere as great!! service even better, will be sure to come back, GREAT EATS!!
The food is absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh,I’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!
I stopped by after shopping at Kings Plaza and the food did not disappoint. I had the jerk chicken platter with extra jerk chicken. There are three sauce choices allowed. I chose white sauce, dragon sauce and bbq sauce. They were so good on the salad. I decided to omit the tomatoes and everything still tasted very good. For just $20, I’d recommend it. Try it and see. Customer service was great. The restaurant is spacious and clean. I will be back.
The service at this restaurant was exceptional. The staff were genuinely nice and attentive when taking our order, and the person who served our food was very friendly. I only wish there was seating available so my wife and I could have enjoyed our meal inside. We ordered the jerk chicken: I had mine over rice, and my wife had hers over fries. The food was good, though it didn’t quite live up to the high expectations set by the reviews. This might have been due to my own mistake of not ordering the right amount of sauce—I should have asked for a bit less. Despite this, I would definitely return if I’m in the neighborhood and try it again with less sauce.
